A couple from Maryland on vacation in the Dominican Republic were found dead in their hotel room. Edward Nathaniel Holmes, 63, and Cynthia Ann Day, 49, had been staying at the Bahía Príncipe hotel at the resort Playa Nueva Romana since May 25, hotel complex director Francisco Romero told local media.
