Administration initially dispensed scarce covid-19 drug to some hospitals that didn’t need it
The first tranche of 607,000 vials of remdesivir were delivered in some cases to the wrong hospitals, to hospitals with no ICUs and therefore no eligible patients, and to facilities with no available refrigeration, according to nine current and former senior administration officials.
